You can give comments on these letters In the beginning of 1996 Stichting de Blinde Schilders approached the NS asking them to help organising an international art train. They were interested and wrote a letter of intend. Also, they sent a request letter to all the European Railway Companies, asking them to participate in the project and lobbied on international network meetings. Unfortunately, some month later they changed their mind due to sift of priorities towards high speed trains. So, the collaboration stopped. We got handed over all the files and a wish of good luck by managing the logistics of the project on the rails by ourselves. We managed just fine and in 1998 after travelling through four countries we decided to bring the train to the Netherlands. We asked NS again to sponsor the project. Waiting for the answer we brought the train to Holland. One week after the train arrived we got a negative answer to our request.
